Last winter pics

Howdy,

It's been a while, sorry! December was a nice month but my new year will start in quite a shitty way. I just wish you could control life a little more. It'd make a lot of things so much easier.

Anyway, the weather has been murky and grey a lot, I really dislike photographing things outside when there's no sunshine at all. The rare days that the sun actually came out from behind the clouds I did try to shoot some nice images and here they are:(I got the flowers from my lovely boyfriend for my birthday)

Winter love

Oh, I do love ice and snow.
It makes the world look like a fairytale, quiet and still.
Especially when the sky is bright blue and the ground is covered in a thick, white blanket.
On days like that, I have this undescribable feeling.
I get up early, peek through the curtains and see this beautiful landscape, I'm so happy! I put on my warmest winterclothes and just go outside and start taking pictures.
On that precise moment, looking through my camera, clicking away, I feel happy.
Just.. simply happy.

Tomorrow's my birthday and tonight me and my boyfriend are gonna make a big ass chocolate cake, can't wait :-D. I kinda hoped it'd snow on my birthday BUT NO, it's gonna rain. Rain sucks. Ah well, here's some pictures, I'm very proud of them!

Ohai!

I'm so happy!

My birthday is coming up and I'm making sure that I'm getting the most kickass presents ever :-D.
I'm spoiling myself a little, but I think I deserve it. Also, I bought myself a birthday present. A new lens. A Macro Lens. Canon EF 100mm F/2.8 L USM IS macro lens to be exact. I'm so fucking excited!! If you're interested, google the lens and search for pictures taken with that lens. 
The portraits you can shoot are amazing and of course, the little details you can capture <3. 
I can't wait! It's my dream come true! SO HAPPY! :-D
Chances are I'll already have my new lens tomorrow!
